Gala Social Media Post Assignment - The inspiration for this piece was a glitzy party scene. I can see this graphic being posted on a social media story, like on Instagram or Facebook, to promote the event. I was going for an elegant, rich vibe with this social media post assignment, and the typography style helped me to achieve that goal. The white text color was used rather than a black one because the black looked too intense against the gold glitter. It gave the image a slightly harsh look, when the aura of the graphic was meant to be calming and intriguing. My aim was for the typography style on this graphic to appear formal.
